My Pangkor Trip - Part 1

As i've told you in the previous post, i'm going to Pangkor for a few days during my semester break, so now i'm back from the trip obviously and decided to post an entry about it. i'm not sure whether i should write a long story about it or just post pictures with captions...cuz i'm just not that good at describing stuff, especially using all the adjectives to bring the experience alive once more. THEREFORE, i decided to post pictures with captions (maybe with a couple of sentences will do)

Terminal Jetty in Lumut
Welcome to Pangkor island
One of the angle from the jetty
this was the ferry we rode
inside the ferry

upon arrival of the jetty of pulau pangkor
in pulau pangkor, your transportations are either by van or bike (or you prefer by foot?)
me and my sis in the van (we got this private driver to be our tour guide for that day, haha, cost us RM40)
this was where we stayed (it was the chalet type, just opposite a long stretch of white sandy beach...love it!)
here we go, the island sightseeing (our private driver actually drove us around the island, you know what, the route was so curvy all the way until i got motion sickness....*sob*)

the first place we visited, a temple called Lin Je Kong (the most famous temple in Pangkor), to enter the temple, you will first come across a beach as shown

you have to climb up the stairs to reach the temple
Me and the mermaid (which is part of the deco in the temple)
view from the temple
a place where you can take the joss-sticks and from the pic you can see a shelf with lotsa compartments, they contain pieces of small papers where you can collect after you "shake" the bamboo cylinder with wooden sticks inside and eventually one of the stick will drop out from the cylinder, there will be a number on that stick and you pick the paper with the same number from the shelf and see what's the paper says about your fate or something...
the temple is partly surrounded by sea
i think this spot is meant for couple to take pic...hahaha!
another temple...ohh, i feel so serene now :p

the square-shaped entrance on the left, will lead you to a mini great wall of china, but i was too tired to climb all the way...

i like this. it looks like some kind of set where they shoot the ancient movie or drama...
"shi de, niang niang..." hahahaha!
the approx. 300-year-old Dutch fort

view from the fort
further inside of the dutch fort

we were back to the hotel after visited the dutch fort and i couldn't take it anymore, motion sickness really got into me, so i terus went to bed and slept....until it was time for dinner

sunset view from our room (taken by my sis while i was still zzzZZZ)
night view of the swimming pool in front of our room
Time for dinner and i was starving.....(slurp~)
YAY, my fav...

after dinner, it was time to hit the beach!!!
in fact, there were lotsa pics taken at the beach, but i somehow managed to shortlist them into 2 only...hahaha..

it wasn't complete without a jumping pic (which i love to do the most) you will be shocked if you happen to glance through my folder for this pangkor trip, cuz there are too many pics like this with us, the 2 siao poh jumping around like nobody's business...lol!
after all the jumpings (we even jumped on the bed to take pics), it was time to hit the sack
see? how mouliu can we get...still take pics before we went to sleep :D
~end of part 1~
