food food food....

well, when i first saw the PISA food fair thingy advertisement on the newspaper, i told me sister that i'm gonna indulge myself in all the hawker food available....
oh my godness, i don't think there is any food that i don't like...i love 'em all!!!
almost 30 types of penang famous hawker food were available...
laksa, char koay teow, pasembur, curry mee...etc...etc... Man, aren't we lucky to be penangnites?

the event started from 6pm until 10pm (15.12.2007)..but my family and me went there quite late *sob sob*...and there were long queues for every stalls. Especially the "Sister char koay teow", the queue makes you think as if the char koay teow are free for all...
Besides, we couldn't find a proper place to dine in...as all the tables were fulled and the only thing we managed to do was lingered around.

but one of the things that caught my attention was...
the line-dancing!
hundreds of.....eh-hem, AUNTIES gathered at the centre of the stadium and dance! whooooo~
*salute*

then my mum suggested that we went somewhere to have our dinner seeing that too many people lining up at each stall for the ever famous penang hawker food!
so we went to queensbay mall and hunted for FOOD!
i was alreayd starving before even went to the food fair...not to mention after seeing all the hawker food made me even......ARGH!
*sigh*
luck wasn't by my side that day...i was craving for Sakae Sushi so badly...!! but when we reached there..OMG, so many people lining for their turn to be served, i can't wait any longer!
my stomach nearly "corroded" by the gastric juice. Then we headed to Dragon-i....same thing again! people...people everywhere....*cursing inside*

the 20 minutes food-hunt finally came to an end when we decided to go Nando's...however, we still had to wait for 5 minutes before there was a table available for us...haiz. My sis and i ordered the 1/2 chicken with 2 sidelines and my parents ordered sausages as they were not as famished as me and my sis. :p
one thing though, i found myself addicted to Nando's extra peri peri hot chicken!

before i end this entry, let me squeeze a little something here.

went out with Jiasiew and Hooixian a few days back..met them up at gurney. actually i planned to watch "Unrest", but the adorable Jiasiew didn't have the gut to watch, so last-minutely (literally), we changed to watch "The Heartbreak Kid". Ohhh...no offence but the movie...made me wanna sleep, zzZZZ...for the first time i felt like wanna walk out from the cinema. ughh.

May and Kel, when was your last time seeing them in person? hehe..

oh yea, there was a kid's show going on that day...some baby Looney Tunes thingy. But they were SOOOO cute!
