There Goes My Easter Break...

Wondering how i spent my easter break/mid-term break? 

okay, so here's the thing (trying very hard to recall what happened during these 2 weeks, as i have slight short term memory loss heh..)

i spent the first week doing my biochemistry practical summaries (we were the only group that had to do 2 summaries instead of 1! damn!) of course with something little slipped in between. but basically i just did the summaries until i could skip my dinner, for 2 days i guess. 

Easter break started on the 10th, which was Good Friday and also my mum's bday! 

Thursday (9th of April)

The night before Good Friday, my friends organised an easter dinner at their place. it was the first time i visited their apartment, hmm, not bad the place, better than my room la, so freaking small :( 

made some new friends who also study in uni of adelaide. ohh, the chicken wings~~taste really GOOD man!! i had quite a number of them lol...and there goes my weight loss plan. bueh!

playing "DONKEY-S". The loser has to perform an act asked by the majority. The guy in white lost in the end, and he had to put on girl's dress, lipsticks and naik miang! it was hilarious seriously!! (had the video, but...eh-hem...hehe)

Good Friday (10th of April)

Had a badminton outing with jeremy, with his friends and my classmates too. before meeting up with my classmates, i dropped by my uni as one of my friends asked me to hand in assignment for him. And of course, our faculty was closed.  the uni was really quiet and crowd-less, can hardly spot anyone in the compound besides some tourists i supposed and guards.

Saturday and Sunday (11th and 12th of April)

the following saturday, went to jeremy's place and stay overnight. Spent the whole evening watching Hell Kitchen and some stand up comedies. That night we went to some chinese restaurant which i've already forgot the name for dinner. hmm, that was the first time i went to a proper chinese restaurant since i came here. after that, i think we dropped by IGA and shop for groceries. then we spent the night stalking people's facebook lol...gossiping abt others haha!

the next morning, we went to farmer's market and spent most of the time testing all the free samples (like cheese, rabbit meats, ice cream..etc..etc) after that, we went to the city and had dimsum...walao, i love the "har gao"! *drooling*

then leh, after dimsum-ing, rushed back to his house and packed my stuff, and headed to Henley beach and met my friends who were already reached. It was one of my friend's birthday...and she wanted to go henley, so we all teman her lo. heee~

Friday (17th of April)

which was the day for the submission of our biochem summaries, after handed up those work to our demosntrator, the few of us headed to harbour town and did some shopping. seriously i still prefer shopping with girls, and this reminds me of shopping with some people back in penang =) 

later that evening, we went to Wasai, which is a japanese restaurant near chinatown to celebrate Denise's birthday. hmm, the ambiance there isn't too bad, and the service was pretty good too. i think we were the only table so siao until ordered 3 sushi boats!  

after sushi, we walked further down to rundle street's Gelatissimo and had ice cream! right~there goes my weight loss plan again! i think someone wanna kill me d hahaha...someone....

Saturday (18th of April)

went clubbing at Red Square with my classmates. sigh, jeremy reached way too late...by the time his gang reached red square outside, my classmates already wanted to go back. (i would have stay til whenever if it wasn't for my classmates, cannot "pit dai" them right?) 

and it was saturday night, therefore...drunkards, drunkards everywhere~ i heard there was a fight somewhere outside the club too. scary! by the time i reached home, felt a tad tipsy..so after a while of camwhoring and stuff, i straightaway hopped onto my bed and slept like a pig. heh..my first clubbing experience in adelaide. but somehow i still prefer the clubs back in malaysia, of course exclude the smokes and those lala-s. personally i think that the music here somehow don't really suit me..most of them like never heard before one. bluek...speaking of the guys, of course here got more lengzai la =P

p/s: jeremy, you bluff me ar? told me here got a lot of asians...but that night all i saw were angmos...only a few asians.

Monday (20th of April)

Went Hahndorf (the so-called german village). Maybe hahndorf is way over-rated in some way that i was kinda disappointed when i reached there. it's really nothing much besides various shops selling sausages, sweets/chocs,etc..etc..but i do like the sceneries in hahndorf...really like those scene in korean movies, red maples stood out among the green trees...some with orangy/yellowish colour too! we also went to strawberry farm and pick strawberries. only for 3aud (entrance fee) and we picked and ate on the spot lol...what a strawberries lunch!

Wednesday (22th of April)

Potluck at my friend's townhouse. 

my contribution was wedges lo...haha, before the potluck started, i was frying those wedges at my tiny kitchen...imagine the smell i caused in the dining room~the whole unit smell like wedges, even myself also smell like one lol...

overall the potluck wasn't too bad, but the main point here is what was after the potluck ---> Truth and Dare 

highlights of the dare were:

ming hui kena eat one spoon of chilli sauce which is really HOT! wahahahhaha!! he was sweating while eatting the wedges dipped with the sauce, imagine him eating the whole spoonful of chilli sauce!

then terence kena stripped (only the shirt la) and stood in the middle of the walkway between the apartment and townhouse, and waved to us from downstairs. hahaha, there were some girls walking by that time too wahahaha!

my dare was to drink a mixture of water, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and sugar...walao eh, the taste...dun remind me of it d. no wonder my stomach was acting weird after that and the day after. 

then the host kena monkey dance (ooopss..cannot post the video here lo) later she kills me =P

whereas ben kena perform threesome omg...(fake one la) at first we wanted him to shave his leg, only one leg...but dun have shaver.

Thursday (23th of April)

Ice skating day. 

it was raining and very windy, and we summore went ice skating...what a "great" combination right?

Went to this Ice Arena around noon with a couple of friends from UoA and Unisa. woohhoo. this is the first time of my entire 21 yrs life that i tried ice skating. At first i thought i would fall while trying to skate with that 2 freaking blades, but miraculously, i didn't!! at first it was quite hard for me to move around with that super rocky hard skating shoes, as time went by, i was getting used to it...thanks to Natasha, who is from Serbia, taught me how to skate, only then i managed to skate smoothly. hmm, yuan lai i got hidden talent in ice skating~ *proud*

but my poor feet ended up with bruises...

Friday (24th of April)

woke up super late, around 2pm. hmm, feeling a bit gloomy, maybe it was due to the weather. it has been raining for 2 days...cold and windy. brrrr~ summore had to do marketting as tomorrow is Anzac day wor..whatever la. still feeling gloomy, duh

So basically these were what i've done during the break...i have a feeling that i've missed out something. hahaha, just that i couldn't recall. 

anyway, 2 more days and easter holidays will come to an end...sob sob...and the weather doesn't help me feeling any better. damn weather!

it's time for new challenges and hello again to hectic schedules.

Meanwhile, let me hibernate.
